Canal boat holidays on the Llangollen Canal

Our Trevor base is right next to the UNESCO World Heritage Pontcysyllte Aqueduct. This awe-inspiring structure carries the Llangollen Canal 38 metres high above the River Dee.

Heading west from Trevor, the historic town of Llangollen is only a two hour cruise away.

Head east, you’ll cross the Pontcysllte Aqueduct and soon after the magnificent Chirk Aqueduct. On a short break you can reach Ellesmere, in the heart of the Lake District.

On a week’s holiday from Trevor you can cruise on to Whitchurch or Wrenbury.

On longer holidays you can complete the Cheshire Ring or Four Counties Ring.
