Canal boat holidays on the Stratford Canal

On a short break from Wootton Wawen you can head south to Shakespeare’s Stratford. There you can moor up in Bancroft Basin in the centre of the town and explore the town.

Or head north through the remains of the Forest of Arden to Hatton Locks on the Grand Union Canal.

On a week’s break from Wootton Wawen, you can continue north to Birmingham where there’s more canals than Venice! Or head to Warwick and visit the medieval castle on the banks of the River Avon.

On a 10-day or two-week break you can complete the Avon Ring or the Warwickshire Ring.
